PHYSICAL THERAPY PROTOCOLS

The physical therapy protocols listed in this section may not be appropriate for every patient. In doing physical therapy, it is very important for the patient and the physical therapist to have a good working relationship. The therapist needs to understand the medical problem, the recommended treatment, and be able to effectively teach the patient how to do the therapy. The patient must provide the therapist with feedback so that each rehabilitation program may be individualized to that patient's particular problem.
